  anyone watching the path on hulu?

  it's a bit extreme but a few similarities in dealing with the struggle of having doubt in possibly splitting up the family.

  is it possible to raise good kids with out religious morals?

  making up my mind on how to teach my son values in life seems to be an on going struggle of what is right and wrong.

  being raised in a sheltered jw life until after leaving high school seems like going from one extreme to another of being over restrictive or under.

  trying to find that balance.

  i just started taking a few college classes.

  and i'm finding it hard to figure out topics to argue about.

  thinking for myself and forming my own opionions about certain subjects.

  jc meeting

  this has been years ago but i was remembering one of my jc meetings, they told me to sit at the very front of the hall while they all sat in the room in the back of the hall to discuss.. and i heard 1 elder yelling from all the way accross the hall.

  has anyone every had this happen?

  its so crazy now looking back at it and how stupid everything was handled..

  elder informed me that i was not to talk to others why certain people were disfellowshipped.

  huh?

  i would think certain ones would want to know if he is a sex offender.
